Meet the Team
Nick Harvey
Managing Director Sirius Casting Agency.
An Airline Captain by profession, but with a love of musical theatre and film. In 2007, my son was born and very soon, I discovered what performing arts could do for a persons confidence, seeing him thrive in various types of drama clubs. Alongside this, I saw the pros and cons of various agencies. As such, encouraged by my son, we formed Sirius Young Performers Ltd, primarily a youth theatre company, but rapidly developed into a YouTube collaboration with The Colchester Institute and then an agency focussed on under 18s. The interest in this service by more experienced performers and meeting our agency head Sarah-Lee, led to the expansion of the agency and in 2024, the hard decision to focus solely on the agency culminating in our rebranding to Sirius Casting Agency in April 2024. Our personalised approach and Sarah Lee’s enthusiasm, makes it a pleasure to be MD of Sirius. We look forward to seeing well deserved success of our wonderful clients.
Sarah-Lee Jones
Agency Head, Sirius Casting Agency.
I understand you and your needs having worked in the industry for many years. In this time, I have gained invaluable knowledge of what casting directors and commissioners want and look for.
Having started my career as a studio runner and working hard throughout the years within the industry (predominately in casting) to obtain my Producer and Director credits.
Being freelance gave me the flexibility to work with several broadcasters from ITV, BBC and MTV which opened up opportunities to work on numerous shows from development, make-over, entertainment and reality, providing me with industry contacts and clients.
I also represented the UK at the prestigious Le Biennale film festival in Venice where I produced and pitched a VR project to the Italian press. Being trained by successful industry professionals was a great experience which again opened industry contacts and projects.
Alongside working in the industry, I obtained a 1st BA Hons degree in Media and Performance, followed by a Master’s Degree in Film, which worked hand in hand with the feature film “The Lost Generation” gaining me my first film credit.
