Why Us?
Established as a result of my son working with three different agencies, we experienced the positives and negatives of all of them. As a result, we decided to form Sirius Casting Agency, initially focussing on Young Performers, more specifically, members of our own Theatre Company. The reason behind this, was knowledge of our client, their strengths', weaknesses and aspirations. We felt that this was crucial as in our experience, a lot of agencies don’t have the desired level of knowledge of people on their own books.
Similarly, serious consideration of the brief. All too often, we felt that agencies were using a scatter gun approach, without considering the real suitability of a client for the opportunity. Combine this with giving less experienced clients the realities of the industry, we feel that this reduces disappointment and wasted time for both our clients and Casting Professionals.
We continue this ethos to this day, now having expanded to take clients from around the UK and Ireland, seeking diverse talent, we still interview every client before taking them onto our books with absolutely no guarantee they will be successful.

So whether you have been spotted, scouted or you’ve received an email in your inbox we have seen potential and we love nothing more than to communicate. Whichever way works best for you, whether that be a zoom chat, phone call or email, we always listen to what our clients what and need.
In the first instance we love to have a zoom chat, this is vital and an opportunity for us to see how you are on camera (so to speak). But also, a fantastic time to ask any questions (no matter how big or small). It is always important to ask the questions and we are always happy to provide the answers.
We receive numerous weekly self-tape requests and in the room auditions for our clients, these opportunities range for each client depending on strengths and experience. We endeavour to match the right role to the right client based on our thorough personal initial sign up call, which we insist on before you join us.
We can never promise to get you ‘in the room’ with a director or a self-tape submission but we are totally honest and transparent and you are able to view all submissions made by us via the Tagmin App, so you can see how hard we work for you in the background.
We love to share our successes from self-tapes to auditions to landing that first role so please follow us on our socials which are updated daily and see what our clients have been up to! You are not just another name on our agency books, we love to get to know you and work as closely with you as you want us to with regular catch-ups and one-to-one calls.
Unfortunately, we do not accept everyone that applies to us, we are particular in who we represent. There are several reasons for this. We may feel you need to gain further expertise in your chosen field, your expectations may not match the reality of the industry or simply, we feel it’s not the right moment in time for you. But above all, we need to be assured that you, our client stands a genuine chance of securing a professional role in the industry and our casting professionals know that if we submit you, our client, they are receiving a genuine prospect that we wholeheartedly believe in. We do not and will not operate on a scatter gun power of numbers approach. That simply wastes everyone’s time.
